Adventure Days

Grab some friends and go explore! Even if it is in your own backyard. Me and a couple friends went to Los Angeles for a day trip yesterday and had a blast.

Key Components:

- Excessive amounts of 80s music
- Go with the flow personalities
- Christ centered convos
- Lots of laughter
- Pictures to document & share your adventure

Places Visited:

- Stumptown Coffee Roasters
- The Last Bookstore
- Cowboys & Turbans - Indian/Mexican Fusion Restaurant
- Amoeba Music
- Hollywood Blvd
- Beard Papa Sweets Cafe
- Griffith Observatory
- Disneyland Parking Structure

Starting the day with some black coffee and latte art seems right. Yes. Nothing better. Driving in traffic through downtown Los Angeles enjoying all the street art and buildings as we make our way to a used bookstore full of old pages and dusty covers. We could have stayed there all day, but our stomachs encouraged us to carry on. We then headed to Silverlake to an amazing fusion restaurant where we had Curry, Lamb, Chicken, and Lassi Drinks. Sweet music and sweet deals beckoned us to Amoeba music where we found ourselves reminiscing about our terrible music taste from high school. We then walked down the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd, looking at all the stars and stopping along the way for some amazing cream puffs and boba drinks. The sun was starting to set on this adventurous day so we headed up the mountain to the Griffith Observatory where we watched the sun set on Los Angeles and the city lights come to life. It was the end of the day and we headed home... but not before we stopped in Anaheim to watch the Disneyland fireworks from the top of the parking structure. Have a day off? Grab some friends and go on an adventure day. Schedule nothing and go with the flow. Get to know one another and laugh till you cry (or snort).
